Master Shot Media exists to use faith-based media, storytelling, television, film, recovery outreach, books, festivals, and live events to encourage hearts, strengthen faith, and point people toward the transforming love of Jesus Christ.

What began as one step of obedience has grown into a multi-platform Christian media ministry reaching filmmakers, artists, families, churches, recovery communities, and viewers around the world. Through the Knoxville International Christian Film Festival, KICFF Presents, The Sobering Life, faith-based film and television projects, inspirational books, and community outreach, Master Shot Media is building more than entertainment. We are building platforms for hope.

A recovery-focused outreach using testimony, media, speaking, coaching, and encouragement to help individuals and families see that healing, freedom, and restoration are possible through God’s grace.

A growing slate of faith-based feature films, documentaries, and television projects designed to entertain, encourage, and create meaningful conversations about redemption, addiction, purpose, and transformation.

Books, Speaking & Events
Award-winning books, live speaking opportunities, faith-based events, workshops, and community gatherings that help people recognize God’s hand in their lives and share stories that bring hope to others.

Master Shot Media was founded by Rob Ekno, a multi-award-winning author, screenwriter, broadcaster, speaker, and television host whose life and work have been shaped by faith, recovery, media, and storytelling.

Rob’s journey has taken him from broadcasting and Hollywood to national and international television, award-winning books, faith-based films, recovery outreach, and the founding of the Knoxville International Christian Film Festival. His testimony is not simply a personal story; it is the foundation of a ministry committed to helping others discover that God can use every season of life for a greater purpose.

Looking back, the pieces of Rob’s life now point to a clear calling: media experience, recovery testimony, writing, broadcasting, live events, film, television, Christian storytelling, and a heart for people who need hope.

What once may have seemed like separate chapters have become one unified mission. Master Shot Media exists because God can take a lifetime of experiences and turn them into a platform for ministry, encouragement, and transformation.
